Talking Business.

I'm a business woman looking to learn more about digital business. This blog is part of my studies at Laurea University of Applied Sciences. It will be a new chapter in my life since I've always considered myself as a non-digital person.

 

During the last decade I've really seen how digitalisation has changed work life. Now it's time to dig a little deeper and get into the details. What are the factors companies are looking into when developing their digital businesses. What are the best ways to reach the consumer etc. I'm really excited to learn all about it and you are welcome to join the ride!

My professional career consist of 18 years in casino business. I've been in several management positions at  Casino Helsinki and at Casino Cosmopol in Sweden. Working in a casino is exciting but it's not for everyone. Gaming business in general is a tough one and very different from many other businesses. Usually people either love it or quit after a year or so. I've loved ever minute of it but you never know what the future holds.

When I'm not studying or working I spend my time with my family. We are a family of four; my husband Sami and girls Iida 5 and Sara 2 years.
